“The Things of the Spirit”

For some weeks now, I have had an impression in my spirit that we are about to witness the sovereign hand of the Lord. That we will experience the Spirit in ways most of us have never imagined.

This is not a “thus saith the Lord” but something in me is feeling this excitement of a very near future event. One in which we will see deliverance of our sin, healing of our sickness, anointing for ministry and the ability to hear His voice clearly and precisely.

Just this morning I received the following prophetic email.
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- Nov. 1, 2010:
I had a vision of rain drops coming down except it wasn't water; it was drops of golden oil. And the Lord said: I am pouring out a fresh anointing on you, My people. It will be anointing for the next level of spiritual experience. Let the oil flow and receive all that I am pouring out. Isaiah 10:27 It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

These rain drops of “golden oil” are what I believe to be the beginning. I have shared with a few people that it is my belief that beginning today November 1^st through the end of February will be a time that will trigger the things of the Spirit.

We are about to enter a new phase of the Spirit and we will come to view incredible things that few men have seen.
some years ago, the Spirit gave me “Twenty-one Supernatural events that will come upon the Church”.

When Obadiah and King Ahab were looking for water due to the drought Elijah had spoken on the Land, Elijah appears to Obadiah. Elijah tells Obadiah to go and retrieve King Ahab and Obadiah says to Elijah, “no, for as soon as I go to get him, the Spirit of the Lord will catch you away.” Elijah had a history of being carried away via the Spirit to other locations.

Philip was sent to minister the book of Isaiah to the Eunuch in the New Testament and when finishing was caught away by the Spirit.

When the Jews sought to kill Jesus on two occasions, He walked right through them because His time was not yet and also after being tempted for 40 days in the wilderness.

We see in these three instances, the ability of the Spirit to cause human flesh to transition in to a different substance.
I personally have had a dream where the Spirit enabled me to walk through the back of a bus, my very substance was transformed and I was transported to a different location. This dream can be found on my website following this Link.

God is no respecter of persons; I know other Saints have had similar experiences.

A few years ago, there were a gathering of Saints in my home. Two missionaries, husband/wife and they were speaking of a pastor’s conference they had attended in the Soviet Union.  

A map had been laid out and each of the pastors was asked where he ministered. A few of the pastors said they ministered here and over here and here. When asked how they could possibly have ministered in so many places so far from each other, they simply stated the Spirit carried them or translated them. The pastors gave the impression they had grown almost accustomed to being transported by way of the Spirit in order to minister.

When the Spirit has a task for His people, we will be transformed and transported from one place to another.
These things will become almost common for those whose hearts have been given to the Lord and His purposes.

One day soon, many of God’s ministers will be able to avoid the time and expense of flying to another destination.
We will be able to avoid long security lines at airports. As times progress (not in a good way) many of these ministers will be blackballed from flying. Simply stated, we will be considered “religious radicals” and therefore too dangerous to travel with the general public. Authorities will see us as a threat!

Do not be dismayed, do not allow the enemy to steal your confidence in the Lord and refuse to let him take your peace. This yoke Marsha Burns is speaking is the heaviness that comes with sorrow and depression and hardship.

Do not allow their heaviness to bring down your joy, for the Joy of the Lord is our strength! Just as David encouraged himself in the Lord, we too have that same obligation to resist the devil and cause him to flee. These many years have been a time of character building and dress rehearsals but now "the times of refreshing are upon us". 

If you truly believe the Lord to be your provider then how can you not believe that your food will be multiplied, your water will come from strange sources, needed money to come from various places, protection by angels, some eyes made blind while other blind eyes are miraculously opened?

I am not teaching a new thing but only re-stating the things of old and hopefully encouraging you that our faith is not stale, not without purpose, but is a journey full of excitement. The Lord’s directions have been carefully planed, time schedules have been determined and those who have a willing heart and who are teachable will be included in this end-time strategy of the Kingdom.

We are about to embark on an adventure of epic proportions, things that will change the destinies of peoples and nations. Multitudes are about to find Jesus because of our obedience to the Lord of Lord and the King of Kings.

As events continue to spiral downward for our nation, the Spirit of the Lord will magnificently display His ways of providing our every need all the while causing confusion and chaos to the enemy.

Marvelous things will we see, do not shorten the arm of our God nor despise His provision.

For these things will you do and greater things will you do,
