"The 12th Chapters"

The number 12 literally means,

“The Establishment of the Government of God”

Below you will find the 12^th Chapter of each book of the Bible,
(Providing that Book has at least twelve chapters),

a different principle is being revealed in every 12th Chapter.

Genesis 12

Promises, Covenant with Abram

¹ Now the LORD had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.

² I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.

³ I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Exodus 12

The Passover Instituted

 ¹ Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, ² “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. ³ Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

“The Establishment of Authority”

¹ Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.   And the LORD heard it.
³ (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
⁴ Suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!” So the three came out. ⁵ Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward. ⁶ Then He said,

      “Hear now My words:  If there is a prophet among you,
      I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision;
      I speak to him in a dream.  ⁷ Not so with My servant Moses;
      He is faithful in all My house.  ⁸ I speak with him face to face,
      Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid
To speak against My servant Moses?”
⁹ So the anger of the LORD was aroused against them, and He departed. ¹⁰ And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow.

Judges 12
God’s Correction of the Tribes of Israel

 ¹ Then the men of Ephraim gathered together, crossed over toward Zaphon, and said to Jephtha, “Why did you cross over to fight against the people of Ammon, and did not call us to go with you? We will burn your house down on you with fire!”
² And Jephthah said to them, “My people and I were in a great struggle with the people of Ammon; and when I called you, you did not deliver me out of their hands. ³ So when I saw that you would not deliver me, I took my life in my hands and crossed over against the people of Ammon; and the LORD delivered them into my hand. There fell at that time forty-two thousand Ephraimites.  (Just happens that there are a total of 12 Judges)

 ¹ In the seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash became king, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba. ² Jehoash did what was right in the sight of the LORD all the days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

Isaiah 12

The Lord forgives and receives Israel, removes the scales from their eyes and brings salvation,
and enters in to the “Millennial Reign”.


“ O LORD, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me,
Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
² Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid;
‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.”

³ Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.
⁴ And in that day you will say:
“ Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.

⁵ Sing to the LORD, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. ⁶ Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”

Jeremiah 12th Chapter
Jeremiah is having a discussion with God asking the question, "Why do the wicked prosper?"

Jer:12:1: Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
Jer:12:2: Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
Jer:12:3: But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
