“Disney World”

I had a dream and I was walking with my friend the Holy Spirit at Disney World in Orlando Florida.

He and I were walking around parts of the back lot and everything was wrapped up and pilled up in tall stacks. Acres and acres of machinery, furniture etc. all wrapped up and stacked up as in storage.

We continued to walk through other parts of the facility and there was a small area being used for all the unwanted animals. I felt that the economy was so severe that most people could not afford to care for their pets any longer, and this had become a local depot. There were a few people trying to help the animals and a very, very few who were looking for a pet. At the end of the day, I was watching as a few of the caretakers were putting the animals into portable cages as if to say, not today.

We entered a huge what turned out to be an elevator, it was so large that possibly as many as four cars could fit in to it. He and I were the only people in the elevator and I knew that this elevator in normal days had transported thousands of employees from the underground offices of Disney to the upper level of the park.

I had a strong impression that while at one time where 10,000 plus employees had worked now only a handful worked and served as security. Only a few small events were being conducted on the Disney property.

While at one time, this was a place of great joy and laughter, now a place of sorrow, loss, decay and amazing depression. This once great recreational theme park was now almost a ghost town and had no hope of being regenerated!

It is my belief that America holds so fast to all of the recreational sports, parks, vacations and travel that the Lord will remove this “escape” from reality. We have tried to comfort ourselves with something anything to replace “The God emptiness inside of ourselves.

“When I was a child, I thought as a child and I played as a child but when I became an adult, I put away childish things”.
