“The Last Great Outpouring”
of the Holy Spirit

May 26, 2017

The Days of Joel 2 and Acts 2,
The Sovereign Act of the Holy Spirit.
“One last and final move of God upon the entire earth”

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,

I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens
I will pour out
 in those days of my Spirit;

and they shall prophesy: Acts 2:16-18 (kjv)

When did the last days begin?

According to Isaiah 2:1-2

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah (Israel) and Jerusalem.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain or Nation of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains or Nations, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. (kjv)

Our question is: when did the last days begin?
Isaiah wrote that when Israel and “more specifically Israel was re-established, this took place in May 1948.

THEN this single event marks the beginning of
“The Last Days.”

I would also like to point out another word from the above verse. “I will pour out of my Spirit upon All flesh”. Notice the word “All” is used.

This is a future event since at no time in history has God’s Spirit fallen on ALL Flesh. The Spirit fell on the 120 in the upper room and countless Believers since then but has Never has the Spirit fallen upon All Flesh.

Years ago the Spirit revealed:
“The greater the intensity of the work, the shorter the time period”.

Man completes his work in the earth in 6,000 years.
The Lord created the earth in 6-days.
Jesus worked Salvation on the cross for 6-hours.

So we see when a work of God is being conducted, the intensity of that work will dictate the length of its time.

The greater the intensity of the work dictates
the length of its time.

The work of John the Baptist was very intense and lasted somewhere around 3-years. The works of Jesus lasted about 3-years. While the 144,000 witnesses will complete their work in 3-years, The work of the two witnesses will continue for 3 & ½ years

In all 4 examples, we see that the greater the intensity of the work, the shorter the time period. In each case, the ministry period was 3 to 3 & ½ years in length. Seeing these as examples we can extrapolate that the coming Harvest will also extend for approximately the same amount of time, 3 to 3 & 1/2  years in length.

“The Last Great Outpouring”

All things revolve around the timing of the Feasts of Israel. Shavuot is the Feast of Weeks or the giving of the Law at Mount Sinai and also the summer wheat harvest.

However we Christians remember Peter standing on the balcony loudly declaring that Pentecost had come.

Does it not make perfect sense that since the Holy Spirit came upon Believers at Shavuot once, Perhaps this last final outpouring will also begin on the very same day, Shavuot Pentecost?

This last great outpouring could very well take place on our anniversary of Pentecost.

Since we are in these last days and a tremendous Harvest is both anticipated and imminent, yet prior to this event, one final event remains before the harvest can truly begin.

The Lord will always visit His House first!

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: 1st Peter 4:17a (kjv)

There is about to be a visitation to
the house of God,
For many it will be welcomed and
to others it will feel like judgment!

What you receive will depend entirely upon where you are in your relationship with the Lord. If you are close and laboring to enter into His rest, it will be a “season of great refreshing” but much much more. It will also usher in healing and restoration and Wholeness and a greater desire to walk in Holiness before Him.

Many of the laborers for this work will have been prepared since they came forth from their mother’s wombs. They have undergone times of countless troubles; many will have lost family, friends, businesses, jobs, homes and every conceivable thing all due to their faith. Everything that gave them comfort or pleasure.

However to those who find themselves outside of this relationship with the Lord, they will still feel that same Spirit of the Lord however the Spirit will bring forth conviction, shame, sorrow and hopefully repentance.

“This will be a Sovereign Act of My Spirit”
sayeth the Lord

This Last Great Outpouring will be a suddenly!
Just as in the upper-room, He will come to those who have waited patiently upon Him. When He comes, a holy boldness will be given to those who have hungered for Him, fear and dread will flee.

Obedience and purity will begin to reign and rule in the hearts and minds of those who are truly His.

Prayer will become our constant companion.

Love will permeate every thing we think and say and do and especially how we conduct ourselves. Your work will be orchestrated by the Spirit and you will see fruit when you minister.

A Newness of Commitment and Steadfastness in the Lord will become your shield. Complete strangers will see your light and will actively pursue you. They will feel His presence upon you and desire to be close to you. They will fall into your hands for Salvation and deliverance. You will be unable to hide your hope and joy and everyone will be drawn to you because hope and joy will be a very scarce commodity.

Many of the laborers of this end time harvest whom the Lord said were so few; many of these currently have illnesses, diseases and frailties. Many are older and have come to think they are of no use to the Kingdom. Yet, they have been faithful with little and are about to be entrusted with more authority than they ever imagined.

They are those who have experienced life and hardships. They have suffered and yet gained wisdom and discernment. They have shown their resolve and followed after the Lord. And they have waited upon Him and now are about to have their strength renewed as the eagles.

Dear Saints, though the years have brought you, anguish and tears and loss, He will not be a debtor to any. He is a rewarder of those who have diligently sought Him.

We are about to see things too valuable, too precious, too magnificent, those things the Prophets have desired to see.

When this final great outpouring of the Spirit begins, you may awaken like any other morning only to find that you were visited in the darkest time of your night. And now your body has been healed and you have been delivered from those things that have hindered you.

A new season, a new day and a new anointing is about to come upon you. All of this will only draw you closer still to the Wonderful One!

The Holy Spirit will visit the household of God first,

only then can the Harvest begin!

Blessings to you and your house,

Steve Grable
