Social Security and Government Benefits

Dream, we were in a very long almost endless line of people waiting to be seen by a person at a desk.

I had just spoken to this person and as I walked only a few steps there were countless people in front of me who also had spoken with the person at the desk. As I stepped up among a half a dozen of them, we were all saying, “Forty years of work for nothing.”

Interpretation, we had worked for forty years with the idea we would be receiving Social Security, Pensions and other benefits after retirement but the Government was informing us that would not be the case.

If we had been receiving benefits they were about to be discontinued. There was simply no money left to give to those who had contributed.
