Part 1

For many years we hear things on television or read them on the Internet or hear a speaker without challenging what is being shared. Many times they are nothing more than unsubstantiated ideologies.

These unlearned sources have ideas stemming from unbelief. They insist that the Ark of the Covenant will be found therefore they continue to look. Surely these exploring archeologists must realize they will never find the Ark of the Covenant.

Jeremiah 3:16 (kjv)     (John 3:16)

And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more,

“The ark of the covenant of the Lord:

neither shall it come to mind:

neither shall they remember it;

neither shall they visit it;

neither shall that be done any more.”

If the Ark of the Covenant were to be found, that would be the focus undoubtedly of All of Israel and also All of the world.

It would be the topic of conversation in both the religious community as well as the secular.  And this find would most certainly trigger the re-building of the third Temple immediately.

This prophetic word from Jeremiah written 2,700 years ago, was merely speaking the heart of the Lord. That when Israel came back into the Land, they were to look to Him with all of their hearts and He would be found of them according to Jeremiah 29:13 & 14a

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

14a And I will be found of you, saith the Lord:

If the Ark of the Covenant were to be found, the Ark would then become their focus and the Jews would not look for their Messiah.

So we see that the Ark of the Covenant will never be found!

Behold old things have passed away.

Ironic how here we have the Two Covenants, the Second has fulfilled the First. We see John 3:16 Fulfilling Jeremiah 3:16 as the New and Everlasting Covenant.

Believe in the Lord’s wisdom, He has purposely hid the Ark so that men would cease from “going backward” and to look for the New and Everlasting Way, the Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua!

So the next time, you hear an archeologist hunting for the Ark of the Covenant or you are watching something akin to an Indiana Jones movie, receive its value as merely entertainment.

Regarding Jeremiah 3:16.

After writing this article and then re-reading it, I thought Wow, how did I manage to miss that as being a “Millennial Scripture” because I am always looking for the Prophetic hidden within the texts.

After further study, I am more convinced than ever that the Ark will never be found! Here is why….

As I began to re-read it, I saw words that would be inconsistent with the Millennial Reign of Christ.

So I did a little study and typed out first the Scripture in regular type and then below it in Italics I wrote what I believe to be the correct interpretation. Hope you can follow what I have done.

Believe it would be easy to assume these verses as being Millennial however there are key words I believe remove that possibility.

Also reading Jeremiah 3:16 “in its context”, it seems to indicate that people are still being born, that Israel is increasing her people within the Land.

Also the Jews are still coming out of the North country. All these words and phrases seem to indicate this is not a millennial scripture.

 Jeremiah 3:14 – 19  (kjv)
14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

The Lord will bring his people out of all the nations.

15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

The Masoretic Text always shows Shepherds not “pastors”.

In the Millennial Reign of Christ, you will have no need for a pastor/shepherd to feed you!

16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

“multiplied and increased in the land”, this sounds like it is speaking of birth of new children, they are multiplying and increasing in the land.

While we know that during the Millennial Reign of the Lord there will be a “re-population of the earth” and all the nations who do not come up for the Feast of Tabernacles will not receive rain on their nations. Additionally, if we the Saints are to rule and reign with Christ, who would we be reigning and ruling over?

However the Saints of God have already died or raptured and already have their resurrected bodies. They are not a part of the re-populating nations of the New earth.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

Jesus is already the King of Jerusalem, so the Throne of Jesus is spiritually already in Jerusalem.

34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:

35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool:

neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Matthew 5:34-36 (KJV)

ALSO

17b “all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.”

All the Saints who flow into the Land of Israel (4 million people mostly Christians per year come up to Jerusalem who are Believers and therefore we do not walk after the imaginations of evil hearts any longer.

we are gathered into Jerusalem “to the name of the Lord”.

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

“the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel”Both Israel and Judah are walking together again even now.

And they continue to bring back all the Jews from North, the old Soviet Union and also Syria etc.

They are coming back into the Land of Israel, their heritage.

19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

Why would it be important for the Lord to “give” them the land during the Millennium?

Blessings to you and your house,
