Fifth and Final Week’s Summary of being in the Land of Israel

Greetings Dear Saints,

We (John, Marie and I just returned from Israel a few short hours ago and have had but a brief sleep, remembering Israel is 7 hours ahead of us. The return trip was a long day and yet blessed, the longest leg of the flight (Israel to Newark) was much more comfortable than the actual journey to Israel. We found ourselves on a United aircraft which had more leg room than the Continental flight into the Land.

What could have become complications at each of the three airports, Ben Gurion, Newark and Orlando; we were shown kindness and consideration and given great service with the expediting of passports, customs and luggage. This seemed to be the Lord’s final stamp of approval on our trip to the Land of Israel.

During our stay in Israel, we covered just over 2,500 miles, taking over 900 photos and we prayed over Zion Oil. Many others have caught the vision for Zion Oil and Gas and are actively engaged in investing in Zion Oil, some even gave me money to invest for them.

We gained a greater understanding on many frontiers. We visited friends, made many sweet and wonderful contacts and rekindled old friendships. We observed the Jewish, Arab and Christian communities at worship. More importantly we spoke to numerous people and shared the love of God and His desire to give them a hope and a future.

We Christians have failed miserably in our duty thus far in provoking the Jews to jealously however this has now begun to shift in the other direction and the Unity of both the Jew and the Gentile is in the offing. Though not having the resources of some and at the same time having every provision made available through our Heavenly Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. We blessed monetarily when led by the Spirit but always attempted to give to all, the greatest gift we possess, the Joy of the Holy Spirit and genuine concern and compassion for all peoples.

A common witness of John, Marie and I and others we spoke with, the people who live in the Land, do not have (unless they are believers in Yeshua Jesus) that peace because they do not know the Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace. Therefore, you do not see the Joy of the Holy Spirit who we are so abundantly blessed to know. We Americans especially are most often light hearted, not so with those of the Land. Life in the Land is difficult, the price of gasoline equates to over $8.00 US per gallon, food is high in fact the cost of living is nearly twice that of the US with income being a third.

We met people from many of the nations, most doing the same as we, blessing the Jewish people. While it is our desire to bless all peoples, the promise of the Bible clearly indicate that those who bless Israel will be blessed. No other promise of God offers this same type of blessing. Of course it is our desire to walk with all men in peace and pray they will be blessed and prosper however this promise does not extend to blessing any other nation, “those who bless Israel” will be blessed.

We encountered an array of both immigrants and visitors who had come. Many not able to give a clear explanation as to why but they came to Israel for indeed it is not a thing of the flesh but it comes from the Spirit of God. All had spent their precious time, energies and money to make probably the most difficult decision of their lives to move to Israel, these had come to make Aliyah (to immigrate to Israel). Others came for a visit simply because they had heard the calling of the God to come and worship the Lord in His Land.

As Psalms 122:1-2 states
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

This Word came to me as a Rhema, that is to say a very specific promise spoken by the Holy Spirit which was brought forth from the Word (the Bible) into my spirit over twenty years ago. Like so many others throughout the centuries, we went up to worship within her walls. John and I stood and prayed at the Kotel (Wailing Wall) on a few occasions. Marie went with the ladies and prayed on their side of the Wall.

We know from the book of Revelation, that during the Millennium, the 1,000 year millennial reign of Jesus, if any nation will Not come up to the New Jerusalem, to worship King Jesus, their nation will receive no rain.

And it shall be that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. Zechariah 14:17-19

We had conversations with others like us from a multitude of nations. Even the briefest of interaction would display the variety of the nations who came up to the City of God. We spoke with many from the England, Holland, Denmark, Italy, China, Japan, India, Spain, Australia, Germany, South Africa, Canada, Iraq, Turkey and of course many from the United States.

There were many Asians. The Asians, we have learned have a tremendous love for Israel. We have also learned that 30,000 precious Chinese people come to the Lord every day; this report was brought from a dear brother and minister who visited Maoz (Tifferet Yeshua). Do you remember the reference to “Sinim” in the Bible?

Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. Isaiah 49:12

Sinim is a far distant Oriental land, Sinim is a people of the Fareast, the Chinese. In just a few years, over 50 million Bibles have been printed because of the hunger for the Word of God in China. The government has attempted to stem this tide however we know that when the enemy comes in like a flood, then the Lord shall lift up a standard against him, thus the hunger for God by the Chinese people is only being accelerated. God will have His remnant out from every land and every nation for before the foundations of the earth, all things been ordained by the Lord. It has already been accomplished.

We have many times found ourselves driving through Mea Shearim, a Jewish orthodox community located in Jerusalem which is largely cut off from Jewish society. The Orthodox wear the long coats, hats and the side curls. Most are in slavery to the Yeshivas which are schools where they study the Word but more times they focus on Rabbinical writings thus they give the writings of their Rabbis more weight that the actual Word of God, the Tenach, our Bible. This is known as Rabbinical Judaism which is not what the Lord intended. The Levitical Priesthood were to be men who were the Liaisons between man and God however we know that now we no longer need any man to be our intermediary for we have Jesus the Son of God who gave His life and we have been made righteous through the believing on His name for our Salvation. In fact the Name Yeshua has two meanings, Salvation or Yahoshua, “Lord who is Salvation.”

When studying these Orthodox, you see little if any joy. They live in poverty, ensnared by this form of Jewish existence. Since they only study, they do not receive any formal education, equating to no job skills.

It is so easy for us to say how ridiculous is this way of life, it is so much like slavery to the workings of man. Man be he a Buddhist, Muslim or have no desire for God and yet ultimately they are all lost. The Bible states that there is NO OTHER NAME, whereby a man can be saved except through the Name of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ.

Like electricity, it does not matter your belief system, unless you plug your electrical device (your spirit) in to the proper energy source, you will not experience its benefits.

The Orthodox Jews are an incredible drain on the Israeli economy and give nothing back. However in recent years, it has become known in certain circles that many Rabbis are quietly (for now) coming to the Messiah, Yeshua (our Jesus).

We observed a country who continues to fulfill the Word of the God although most would disagree with that statement not knowing their own Bibles. Amazing how men “think” they are doing their own thing all the while accomplishing the very thing the Lord had already declared thousands of years prior. To the Lord, a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years are as a day. God stands outside of all time, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jeremiah 30: 17-22
17 For I will restore your (Israel) health, I will heal you of your wounds,” says ADONAI, “because they called you an outcast, Zion, with no one who cares about her.”
18 Thus says ADONAI: “I will return Jacob’s (Israel’s) captives to their tents; I will take pity on his dwellings. Cities will be rebuilt on their own tels, (Ruins) with palaces where they’re supposed to be.
19 From them will come thanksgiving and the sound of people celebrating. I will increase them; they will not be decreased; I will honor them; they will not be despised.
20
Their children will be as they used to be, their community confirmed in my presence; and I will punish everyone who oppresses them.

21 Their leader will be one of their own, their ruler will come from among them. I will cause him to come close and let him approach me; for, otherwise, who would guarantee his heart enough to approach me?” says ADONAI.
22 “You will be my people, and I will be your God.”
(Complete Jewish Bible Version)

Today, Israel is fulfilling these very promises of God, in the midst of the hatred of the nations. Seems that each day brings news of another nation who turns her back on Israel; regrettably even America yet the God who loves His people as the Word declares, “He Never slumbers or sleeps”.

Today, the Fox news page reports hundreds of Palestinians attempting to breach the border at the Golan border with Syria where John, Marie and I were just a few shorts weeks ago. While we were in Israel, nearly every week or two there was some form of emergency or crises and yet Israel is safer to travel than the United States.

While it is my personal observation that both the Land of Israel and her people are a living breathing portrait of conflicting attitudes, lifestyles, agendas and purposes; there is no place like her. She is a most reliable source of contradiction in nearly every conceivable way. Yet the beauty of the Jewish heart, those who will not be denied the promises of God, along with their renown for ingenuity and resourcefulness have blessed every nation upon the earth. No other nation on earth has touched more lives outside of their own nation than that of Israel.

All said the inhabitants of Israel are all doing a rather complicated dance, each attempting to live within a very small dance floor known as the property of God. Most are oblivious to the things of God, yet they are His, and they will come to know Him and as Isaiah states, the Jews will mourn for Him (Yeshua, Jesus) as they mourn for an only Son.

On the other hand, while the Palestinians (Arabs) lay claim to the Land of Israel, this is nothing more than pride and arrogance. Islam believes that once a piece of land belonged to Islam no matter how distant in the past or forever how brief, that land must be retaken from its rightful owner. Additionally, if an individual was born a Muslim, their law states he must remain a Muslim or face the possibility of being murdered many times by his own family. However, we know one thing is certain, unless he finds the one true God, Yeshua, Jesus, he will remain a slave to a false god who offers no hope.

John, Marie and I wish to extend our many thanks for your prayer cover and we send our love to you in knowing we are all a part of the Body of Christ, we are of His Kingdom which will have no end. We will forever be with Him.

In the next few days, I will be sending out a separate report on the dream,
“The Whiteboard, the Arab and the Passing of the Vision”.

Blessings to you and your house,
Steve Grable
